" Madison Bumgarner acknowledged that
hitting a home run off Clayton Kershaw was a little out of
the ordinary. Outpitching the reigning NL MVP and Cy
Young winner, though, has become almost commonplace.
Bumgarner homered, pitched 6 1/3 solid innings and
helped the San Francisco Giants shut out the Los Angeles
Dodgers for the third straight day, 4-0 Thursday.
"He's the best pitcher in baseball," Bumgarner said."
